Affiliate Disclosure

How Brew Insider earns revenue — and why it never affects what we recommend.

▸ Last Updated: January 1, 2025

Brew Insider is a participant in affiliate marketing programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees. This page explains exactly how that works and how it affects — and does not affect — our content.

FTC Disclosure: In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), Brew Insider discloses that this site contains affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer — at no additional cost to you.

1. Amazon Associates Program

Brew Insider is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click a link on our site that points to Amazon, Amazon may place a cookie in your browser. If you purchase a qualifying product during that session — even if it’s not the product we linked to — we may earn a small commission. The price you pay is identical to what you’d pay without our link.

2. How Affiliate Revenue Works

Affiliate commissions are how we keep Brew Insider free, independent, and ad-free. They allow us to invest time in thorough product research and writing without charging subscription fees or accepting sponsored placements.

  • Commissions typically range from 1–10% of the purchase price, depending on the product category
  • We earn only when you make a qualifying purchase — browsing alone earns us nothing
  • You are never charged a higher price because of an affiliate link
  • Commissions are paid by the affiliate program, not by you

3. Editorial Independence — Our Promise

Affiliate relationships do not influence which products we feature, how we rank them, or what we say about them. We do not accept payment from brands in exchange for positive coverage. We do not inflate scores to favour higher-commission products.

Our selection process is based entirely on research quality: spec analysis, aggregated buyer feedback, long-term reliability data, and editorial judgment. A product earns its place in a guide by being genuinely good for the reader — not because it pays us more.

If you ever find a recommendation on this site that seems inconsistent with our stated values, please email us at hello@brewinsider.com. We take editorial integrity seriously and will investigate any concern you raise.

4. How to Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on Brew Insider typically point to product pages on Amazon (amazon.com). You can identify them by the destination URL. We do not use deceptive or hidden affiliate links. When a link earns us a commission, that is already disclosed by the existence of this Affiliate Disclosure page, which is linked in the footer of every page on our site.
